PICS: Will have soon

Driveline consists of an L20B that has been rebuilt in the last few years by the previous owner, what was done is unknown to me, but compression is 180psi across all 4 cyl's, the motor has a W53 head, off an L16 stanza, which is a high comp head, has a 72deg Ivan Tighe cam, 2x45mm Webers, rebuilt and setup less than 50kays ago (still need fine tuning) extractors and full 2-1/4" exhaust, electronic distributor, backed by an unknown clutch that's firm and doeesn't slip, mated to an R30 5 speed box and standard diff, also has a triple core radiator with standard end tanks, nearly new too

Suspension/Brakes is yet to be fully done, but so far consists of 200B front struts and brakes with a 3/4 twin resovoir master cylinder and booster, the springs are H/D lowered in the rear and stock front, and the shocks are unknown, but firm and not shagged, handles suprisingly well, wheels are TRX rims with new wheel nuts and 99% tryes 195/50, great tyre too

Interior is a work in progress but nearly finished by myself, so far it has new moulded plush black carpet with thick underlay for sound deadening, all new door seals and bailey channel rubbers, imported starlet GT bucket seats in the front and stock black bench in the back, i filled the cracked dash and sanded it smooth then got it retrimmed professionally in black vinyl, sports steering wheel in black and red (matches seats) and am currently making door trims for it, just need to cover them now, i layed speaker wiring and a 6 guage amp cable under the carpet to reach the boot, as i had it laying around, just to help if anyone wants to fit a stereo to it, which it doesn't have, the parcel shelf has been redone with a 12mm thick piece of MDF covering it, also ready to have speakers fitted to it, if you want, with the new carpet and door seals, the NVH levels have dropped significantly, and is a pleasure to drive now

Exterior is great, very straight, the previous owner had it resprayed about 3 years ago, and you can tell, since he owned it, it was always garaged and never driven, he had other cars more important to him (weird) so in the last 3 years, i'd say it's done less than 1,000kays, the paint is a white basic respray but still very good, all panels are straight, the only problem i have is that the bumpers and door handles were painted white too, the only chrome is the headlight surrounds, the headlights have been upgraded to H4 globes outer and sealed aircraft landing lights inner,

Spares - are foor sale seperately, but if not sold before car sale will go with it if the price is right, consists of another R30 5 speed box, extractors, headlight surrounds and a few other little things

Issues -there's no point me lying about anything as i'm pretty far away from people, being pretty much central from sydney and brisbane,
Rust - the big million dollar question, from what i can see there is sweet F/A on this car, seeing as it only had a respray recently, the only evident rust bubbles i can see are on the D/S/R guard lip about the size of 2mm big, it's nothing, the other area is in both front footwells, P/S had a hole through the floor about 1/4 the size of a 5c piece, both sides had minor rust in the inner kick panels too, i treated these areas and didn't think it worthwhile with a cut and shut as they were too small, carpet covers these now anyway
Crash history - i dont know much about this car before i owned it, but it looks to have had a very minor tap in the front D/S, the rad support is a little uneven, everything lines up fine, prob a hit at around 5 kays an hour max, minimal damage, all panels are staight though
Things i'd do to it if i was gonna keep her - datsport retactable belts, as it has standard ones now, relays for the headlights for better lighting, lower front to match rear, and needs a hoodlining
I let it run out of rego recently, as it was my project car with big intentions, so i was gonna get it engineered with an SR20 later on, so now she requires a blueslip, the biggest issue will be the L20B engine, but should be no dramas if you know someone, she drives fine, just a nearly finished project, that i'm now selling to fund for Europe trip
