Decieded to update our site, so purchased dreamweaver.

Wow what frustration. The old software we use is easy, just drag & drop.
when placing an image we just dragged an image on to the page & dragged it to the desired position.

No such luck it seems with CS3.
How do you place an image in CS3 where you want it.?
For instance if we want our logo in the center & down a few lines?
It all appears relative to text.
The old software allowed us to drag text boxes where we wanted & was so easy to set up a page.
Just cant get my head around this one.

How come some ancient cheap software was easy to manipulate & the new stuff is much harder to use.?

Tried the tutorials & they just dont cut it.
Can anyone help please.

Have you tried these?

This one might be good

I'm a web developer but haven't used Dreamweaver in a while. If you need any help getting things happening let me know.

I'm a big fan of Dreamweaver, it allows much more complex coding then some of the more basic software.

Sounds like you need to create some tables to acheive what you are after.

Happy to try and help.

Thanks for the assistance guys. Had checked out a few of the links posted.
Getting my head around it slowly.
Seems the property bar is what I should be using.
Im staying away from CSS until I need them.
no doubt i will be needing more help a bit later.
