Some sad photos of Oran Park taken on 27th January showing the bridge being torn down.My friend ran the last ever track day their on the 25th Jan at the end of the day they took a backhoe out on the track and dug holes everywere in the track and pulled the concrete walls down onto the track and did this in front of everyone. He said a few old timers had a tear in their eyes
Apparently the bridge didnt get sold and went 2 SIMS metal RIP Oran Park

That photo does hurt....
and now that its gone this only gives ppl less opportunity for safe off the street driving.
Do the ppl realise that selling it off is just is giong to make more ppl take racing to a public road ?? ( or i guess they just dont care )

I hate to say it but ive been doing alot of excavation work out there but no demo on the track which is almost completely gone now and there is going to be a shit load of houses in there once its all done. Way more money in that I guess. Sad to see something like this go eastern creek will never be able to handle all the racing, everyday (before the demo) I worked at oran park there was racing on weather it was drifts, go carts, bikes or cars.

I'm sad to see it go cos apart from the Ian Luff day in green SX-510 MK1, I never really got to drive it in anger
The only consolation is that my company won the contract to provide an optical network for the housing estate - 100MB/s broadband to the home
