May just make it to this one.... with a tray load of cheap/free parts.... would be nice to make enough to cover fuel costs.... -
Picking up a free Ute next Wednesday for parts! Oh yea! Also getting the Huon Pine for the dash that day as well!
-
Cheers mate! I love Green! This is Holden S Green.

There was once a supplier operating out of Broken Hill but is now obsolete. Having mine custom made by Brown's Engineering Moama. Either way your looking at around $1400 for the finished item. Including paint, locks, gas-struts, waterproofing etc.

####! Darn it! Going to be in Japan at that time.... my luck is getting worse!

Sorry guys.... by the looks of Uni work, finances, and with my Ute not yet ready, I'm going to have to miss this one.... Enjoy! -
Oh no not for those! Mine were just Speedy Sirocco.... nothing special....
-
Spotted this just outside my Uni.... was thinking if grabbing it for myself!
-
Bull yea that's the one! Hunt around for quotes.... I got mine cheap at JAXQUICKFIT.... bout $140 with tyre....
-
Bit of a novice when it comes to wheels but I have to say that those Work Equip 03 in the gold would go well with your ride! I'm running 15x6.5 but then again I'm not running coilovers....

Have you checked the connections on the ignition coil? after all that is where the driver (should be a green wire connected to the positive terminal) for the tacho should be going to.

depends on how they come set up.. You can buy a pair of twin carbs & they can set you back a bit . lets say for the arguement $500 pr. & the following prices i quote can be found cheaper or more expensive here & there... Things to consider when you want to apply them to any motor. Chokes - roughly 30 -50 each (need 4) & auxiliarys's about the same.. 30-50 ea. Therefore you CAN be up to $200-400 before you jet it.. Some times ( if you buy right) you can get away with just jets & yr sweet.. Just dont assume they will be ok. Make sure you ask what are in them. If you want to know what to run, buy a book and do some maths.. It will only give you a base guide, but a good enough guide to work from, plus give help if you want to rebuild them .. Dont forget you have up to 8 items per cyl to adj/fine tune. chokes/aux/pumpjets/mains/emusion tubes/ idles etcc...dont let that scare you. .. Thanx for the Info mate.... And yea I am willing to spend money where it is due.... I was quoted $1400 for the Twin 40 DHLA Dellorto fitted n tuned.... Couple of Q's Is that with all the linkages, rebuilt cars, jetted & dyno'd.. ? If so, thats not too bad . Can get new carbs for around $500 each, that come jetted to what you assume is right. Then you have dyno for fine tuning, and linkages + manifold.. are they new ? or rebuilt. They are brand new.... Complete kit. Linkages, carbs, manifold, jetted, etc.... and yes it will be dyno'd for fine tuning which I'm looking forward to seeing. Now this maybe a stupid question but if the manifold is oval ported, does that mean that the head on my engine has to be oval port to? or will it work on the stock head? I'm not really looking into a massive performance boost.... but I love the look! there is a difference with the oval port.. will need the matching head.. but def worth it. square peg in a round hole. .. ( im sure someone on here may pipe up and tell you you can port it with an angle grinder or the like..) The rest of the deal sounds very good.. Cheers mate! Looking into it atm.... don't know if I will have done b4 the run, but we shall see....
