All these years Pete and you finally got a couple of tenths of a second on the 30 year old motor!!!

You have had more versions of the car/motor than there has been rocky movies trying to get there!!!

Look out for the FJ's TO HIT BACK EVEN HARDER, make the most of it champ!!!!

Ahh... Shane...... yes I admit the car and motor has gone through a few changes. As you know mate, a couple of tenths is A LOT!

We haven't seen the full potential of this turbo yet

I can't wait to see GODATO with its "fresh" motor

Bob Jane all rounders

Thanks james, they are 195/55/15 Toyo R888s, but having the slotted crossmember and offset bushes in the arms also helped lessen the negative camber

Damn man. that is one of the nicest 510's I have seen. (Thats me showing where I live I guess.)

I cant wait to get an SR to go in mine. Too bad they are so hard to get and expensive when you do here in the states.

Thanks dude, it was by pure luck. The first panel beater found it way back in 1999-2000.

I don't remember where he got it.

love the upgrades, good stuff. only thing i didnt like about the T3 camber tops is that the studs arent pressed in, they're just bolts. so you cant exactly assemble the whole strut and put it in like that. i found it was easier to bolt the strut top into the strut towers by themselves, and then put in the rest of the completed assembly

Thanks fellas....hoping on some better tracks time with this new gear.

Anth: I agree mate. Will try fitting your way first. I also had to re-thread the top nut to 14mm from 12mm

What did you do to yours?

Car comes home from the make over this week :yahoo:

i used Z31 Koni's so i had to get the top nut re-threaded to suit them. not sure what the actual size was, a mate of mine is an engineer so i gave him the nuts and the shocks and he found the thread size.

Firstly , I have to say Roy has been the best panel beater/painter I have dealt with.

-i dropped the car off and he starting work on it a day later

-he rang a few times during the work to give me updates

-took photos during the work and put them on a DVD

-best of all he took the time and did a top job

:good:

now the pics he took

quarter with one of the first nisco sill section

new quarter panel - no issues on this side

no full photos yet, as i picked the car up at night during the week and had it stands to do the suspension.
