Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being really postive about me buying a finished car and saying its gone to a good home etc.

I was a little hesitant that i'd be paid out (wait's for smart ass Mark to be the first to bag me now lol )

Just got of the phone with Pete at ProTorque. Seems these FJ's do it easy

370rwhp more to come, fuel pump dying a slow death had to stop.

I think Derek is a happy boy.

A select few of you knew that after my recent 320rwhp tune, the microtech mt8 packed up shop and decided it had been repaired just one to many times.

So the decision was made to go Microtech again.

Why?

Price, Tuners Familarity, and proven results were the 3 main things that influenced my decision.

So what did I change? (me personally not a thing, all work was done in house @ Pro Torque by Pete)

Microtech LT10s

Microtech X4 Ignitor

Full rewire, remove old loom, draw power from appropriate places (e.g. not the alternator) and neaten up the appearance.

Change from single coil wasted spark to 4 bosch coil sequential spark.

Mount coils under plenum and out of site.

Change fuel rail to dual feed with centre return.

Remove SARD copy fuel regulator, replace with "Magna Fuel" fuel regulator.

Install Fuel Pressure Gauge.

And a fresh tune by Pete from Pro Torque.

Call me a Sook if you will but I dont see any benefit in myself posting.

Jeff, Chris and Mal you guys have been my inspiration, with your insightful posts and support and help.

Below is my dyno sheet.

As always I have always had graphs and timeslips to back up my car's performance.

Nice car and overview Derek!

Though I gotta say.... (nicely - as Iggy suggests)... I can't seem to locate your "top mount intercooler" or where it connects to the "dump pipe"

Plus... It must have been a fairly advanced "XY GT Falcon" you got that throttle body from!

Sorry man couldn't resist (yes, I expect this to come back and bite me when I least expect it... )

Congrats on the great results!

Sticking with MicroTech definitely was a good choice. And now it can be seen, your 3 influential factors paid off.

Good price obviously for what you got, and what you got out of it.

Tuners familiarity to get you the incredible results we see here.

And you now are one of those "proven results" that convinced you to stick with the microtech.

The smoothness of the power and torque curves show you have now got the ideal and safe combo of fuel supply and ignition/engine management.

Both have plenty more in them, but where else would you want to go??

So nervous.

Felt fat and frumpy.

Didnt even have time to do my hair....

I almost said top mount intercooler earlier in the piece and correct myself.

Top mount intercooler feeding a gate..... yup thats some impressive gear no-one has done before...

I said XY GT 18 times, its turns out nearly all the pieces on my car... came from it....

Bahahaha well i did prewarn Ig before it went up i got a bit lost when trying to talk about it.

Theres more mistakes as well that im sure Bend will pick up on and change his avatar accoridngly

I tried to go racing tonight but got a call from the brother in law advising his 14month yr old and his 8 months pregnant wife were on the side of the rd.... yeh!!

It was a pretty decent effort no matter what Deks. It's not easy saying all that in front of a video camera in a single take!

Especially when you are on the verge of an eating disorder
