Hi Kiwi

this is for the Sydney Datsun Club display so you will need to be a member of the SDC, have a Nissan/Datsun, preferably original, and that's about it.

There is a small entry fee.

Cheers Jon

Priorities Jason. Lets just hope Manda doesn't have it at the track :sorcerer: (party hat).

By the way, well done. three is a good number. (any more and you'll need a van... or a cedric  )

Also, Brad, your rally car would be a welcome inclusion. afterall the 1600 is most notable for it's rallyability.

Hi

thanks for the info

I might have a datsun (1600 sports) sometime this week depending on

negotiations, so after that its the datsun club and a trip

around the track?

I'm guess that i will be captain slow, but might be 1st

in my class ;-)

Hi there,

You can't race at this event, It is a car Show,They get about 1800 cars there, very big event,

You get one lap around Eastern Creek, It's a parade lap, can't go over 60 klm's

Regard Shawn,

I hope that won't be me if I come down!

Just agreed on the price, so i looks like I will

soon be the proud owner of a 1967 datsun.

I'll have to try and add a picture to the garage thing

Was just chatting to dad, an aussie who lives in NZ. He had an old datsun 1600 sunny.

Reckoned it had a great motor.

I went to the CMC meeting last monday and now have the club registration form.

Cost is now $12 per car.

The way we are heading, I think we will be looking at over 20 cars.

Do you think it is fair to charge $5 per entrant and the club pays the rest?

At least that way there is a bit more commitment.

I have updated my initial post

I think $5.00 is fare and the club pays the $7.00,

Looks like it will be a big turn out, can't wait,

Yep, I took my daughter last year (also 9). She was in the passenger seat taking photos.

They also have double decker bus rides around the circuit, she loved that.
