Here's my first batch (sorry I took so many of my own car....)

My favourite shot by far is the one of Chuck's blue 1600 with the reflection in the puddle - that pic was more ass than class (a bit like the one of DA75IN (Mark) posing next to Neary's 1600 haha....)

.

Nice photos there Dave,

The last photo is where I reckon i'm doing about 130 to 150 klms per hour in 4th gear, The ass end lets go a bit, That was a heart starter for me as well as a few spectators that saw it,

As I went and watched some cars go around that point and spoke to some spectators, , So I could see what racing line they were taking to ensure my almost mis hap didn't happen again,

Had 7 runs on Saturday and only 3 yesterday, Had only three yesterday due to leaving early for the 2 hour drive home,

Thanks to all that come up and spectated,

Racing, criusing, beer, chrsitmas party, raffle,

Can't get a better weekend,

Cheers Shawn,

I had the same number of runs, only one of mine wasn't timed properly on Sunday due to butterflies triggering the timing beam :wallbash:

I was waiting for it to all go horribly wrong when you got a bit sideways across the top of the mountain, I reckon you'd be spot on with the speed as I was doing over 130 thru there at Easter when I had the datalogger in the car. That was one of my favourite spots, very fast as you drift out towards the concrete wall on the outside of the turn. That, and the kink at the Chase on Saturday, flat out right hander at well over 160 for me, probably much faster for you turbo guys.

The L18 in my 1600 spat the dummy (well, spat the exhaust manifold gasket) late on Saturday, wasn't running too well or sounding too well on the Sunday. Good excuse to finally fit the bigger SU's I have for it.

Was a good weekend, thanks to all involved in organising it.

See below for the Gold Fields summary of our visit.

Looks like they haven't found Ben's tree.

I think we'll have to try harder next time.

Hi Graeme,

Thank you for your email and thank you for holding your function with the Bathurst Goldfields.

I know all too well that sore heads on a Sunday means you had a fantastic time on Saturday night/Sunday morning!!!

I don’ think there were any dramas over the weekend at all. All reports I have heard is that it was a fantastic weekend!

The Datsun Car Club is most definitely welcome back.

I look forward to speaking with you in the near future to organise another function for 2011.

Kind Regards

Yeah, we started discussion of alternatives some time ago and nothing seemed to eventuate.

I'm sure a christmas event will be discussed at the next SDC meeting on the 21st Nov (still at the Prospect Hotel, 7:30pm)

Get your thinking caps on.

There has been suggestion of an observation run, general cruise, or maybe even just a social drink.
