Having issues with 68-Solex Roadster. In-between shifts the throttles do not decrease, when the revs are over 4000 rpm the motor actually increases while clutch pedal is in. Have brand new Mikuni's, new exhaust-intake gasket, all new intake insulator gaskets, rebuilt head and head gasket. I think I have eliminated any vacume leaks.

Would it be possible cam and crank are not timed properly? Makes no sense why the revs dont drop and quite often increase.
