Hey lads im kinda new to the datto thing but plenty of my mates have them,

I am thinking about buying a 1200 ute but unsure if it will tow my boat?

It only light its a thunder cat 4.1 m long 50hp its not that heavy Thundercat

Let me know what you think or you have experienced

yeh i wouldnt tow anything with a 1200 man. they are too small although my 1200 would tow anything, i dont think it would handle the extra weight.

it really comes down to what motor is in the 1200, i wouldnt even tow an empty box trailer with an A12 but DATTO's 1200 is sr20 turbo and you wouldnt wanna tow more than a few hundred kg's with that providing the brakes are good.

it will tow your thundercat with ease man they weigh %#@! all im sure the A12 could tow it around the shire to the ramp and home and still pull the cat out..

Yes any small car could tow that boat, I bet you have fun in that boat, You should put a 90 horse power on it, and chuck some water wheelies, :D

hahaha a 90 on a thunder cat wound be like putting a supercharged 454 in a 1200 f%ing crazy lol but yeh they are alot of good fun and the best part is no coppers

u can work the tohi 50's to 80hp man.. they are a %#@!en weapon then, one of the guys that comes on the skua runs got one.. another guy had his worked to 90hp at the prop.. was bullshit ay

can pull sum pretty fat sits with just the normal 50 and get sum crazy vert goin too
